Remote Based Firing Angle
This circuit can be used to remotely control the speed of an AC fan as well as to turn in ON and OFF. The speed of the fan is controlled using firing angle concept. We will be using a Philips TV remote which uses RC5 protocol to transfer data. This data is the received by TSOP1738 sensor which is then decoded by the microcontroller and necessary action will be taken. The fan speed will be displayed on the seven segment display.
