XL2596S-ADJE1 adjustable PWM buck converter with 4.5–40 V input, 1.23–37 V output and 3 A output capability.

The XLSEMI XL2596S-ADJE1 is an adjustable PWM buck converter that changes a higher DC input into a lower DC output. It accepts 4.5 V to 40 V and provides an adjustable output from 1.23 V to 37 V, with output current capability up to 3 A.

Fixed-frequency PWM switching at 150 kHz supports a consistent converter design. Built-in current limiting and thermal shutdown help manage fault and heat conditions. An ON/OFF pin lets the system control the converter when needed.

This DC step-down converter suits equipment such as LCD displays, set-top boxes and telecom or networking systems. Its adjustable output can serve different circuit voltage needs from one converter design.
