The MORNSUN K7805-2000R3 is a regulated DC/DC converter module that converts an 8–36 VDC input to a single 5 VDC output. Its non-isolated design suits boards that need a steady 5 V rail from a higher DC supply.

Continuous, self-recovering short-circuit protection helps the module resume operation after a short is removed. The module is pin-compatible with LM78XX series regulators, which can ease use in suitable board layouts. It also needs no heat sink as described for the series.
