MORNSUN K7812-1000R3 regulated DC/DC converter with +12 V output, 16–36 VDC input range and up to 1000 mA output current.

The MORNSUN K7812-1000R3 is a regulated 12 V DC/DC converter for systems that need a positive supply rail from a 24 V nominal DC input. It accepts 16–36 VDC and provides up to 1000 mA for local power conversion in electronic equipment.

Its switching design reaches 96% full-load efficiency at minimum input and 93% at maximum input. The three-pin module is pin compatible with the LM78xx series, which can ease board updates where the layout matches. If an output short occurs, self-recovering short-circuit protection acts continuously and resumes operation after the fault clears. The converter is non-isolated, so input and output do not have galvanic isolation.
