The LP5012RUKR is a 12-channel, constant-current RGB LED driver IC from Texas Instruments, designed for smooth color mixing and dimming control in smart lighting applications. It supports 12-bit PWM dimming at a high frequency of 29 kHz to eliminate audible noise. Controlled via an I²C interface, it enables precise color and brightness control across multiple LEDs. The IC supports up to 35 mA per channel and includes global RGB control and phase shifting to minimize inrush current. Operating from a 2.7V to 5.5V supply, it is ideal for wearable devices, gaming peripherals, and ambient lighting.
