Shipping & Return Policy
This Shipping & Return Policy explains how we handle shipping, delivery, returns, replacements, and cancellations for orders placed on dnatechindia.com, operated by DNA Solutions.
1. Payment & Pricing
- All prices on the website are in Indian Rupees (INR).
- Product pages may show both price before GST and price including GST for clarity.
- We accept payments via UPI, credit/debit cards, net banking, and wallets through our secure payment gateway (Paytm or other RBI-compliant providers).
- There are no hidden charges; applicable shipping charges and taxes are shown before you confirm and pay for the order.
- All invoices are issued under DNA Solutions (GSTIN: 27BGPPS9522M1ZF), enabling eligible buyers to claim input tax credit as per applicable law.
2. Shipping Zones & Carriers
- We currently ship only within India.
- Orders are shipped using reputed logistics partners such as DTDC, India Post/Speed Post, Maruti, Anjani or other equivalent couriers, depending on destination and service availability.
The available shipping options and charges for your pin code are shown at checkout. You will be able to review the shipping charges before making payment.
3. Dispatch Time
- For items marked as In Stock, we generally dispatch within 1–3 business days after payment confirmation. Orders placed after 2:00 PM are treated as received on the next business day. Dispatch time of 1–3 business days is counted from then.
- For back-order or non-stock items (if accepted), dispatch time will be communicated by our sales team and may vary depending on supplier lead time.
Business days are Monday to Saturday, excluding public holidays.
4. Delivery Time
- Typical delivery time after dispatch is 2–7 business days, depending on your location and the courier service used.
- Remote or out-of-service areas may require additional days.
These delivery times are estimates provided by our courier partners. We will share a tracking number once your order is shipped so you can follow the shipment status. While we do not control courier operations, we will assist you in coordinating with the logistics partner in case of delays or delivery issues.
5. Shipping Charges & Estimates
- Shipping charges are calculated based on destination, package weight/volume, and service level.
- You can view an estimated shipping cost by adding products to your cart and using the shipping estimate/checkout page before payment.
- Final shipping charges are shown clearly on the checkout page before you confirm the order.
6. Order Tracking
- Once your order is dispatched, we will send you an email (and/or SMS, where available) with the courier name and tracking number.
- You can track your shipment on the respective courier’s website using this tracking ID.
- If tracking information is unclear or the shipment is delayed, you can contact us and we will help raise a query with the logistics partner.
7. Return, Replacement & Refund Policy
Due to the nature of electronic components, we accept returns only in specific cases as detailed below.
7.1 Eligible Reasons for Return/Replacement
You may request a return or replacement if:
- The product received is physically damaged on arrival.
- You received a wrong item compared to what was ordered.
- The product has a clear manufacturing defect or does not function as described, when used as per standard guidelines.
7.2 Return Request Window
- You must inform us of any issue within 3 days of delivery (as per courier tracking date).
- Requests raised after 3 days of delivery may not be accepted.
7.3 Condition of Returned Items
- Products must be returned in their original condition, with all accessories, packaging, labels, and invoice where possible.
- Items that show signs of misuse, incorrect wiring, modification, burning, soldering, or physical damage caused after delivery will not be eligible for return or replacement.
7.4 Return Shipping Costs
- If the return is approved for reasons such as wrong item shipped, damaged in transit, or manufacturing defect, we will either:
- Arrange a pickup through our courier partner, or
- Reimburse you for standard return shipping charges after we receive and verify the product.
- We do not accept returns for “change of mind”, incompatible selection, or incorrect ordering once the correct and functional item has been delivered.
7.5 Refund or Replacement
- After we receive and inspect the returned item, we will either:
- Send a replacement unit, or
- Issue a full refund for the product value (and applicable shipping, if the error was on our side).
- If an exact replacement is not available in stock, we may offer an alternative or provide a 100% refund for the returned item.
Refunds are processed back to the original payment method (UPI/card/net banking/wallet) used at the time of purchase, within 5–7 business days of approval.
8. Order Cancellation
- Orders can be cancelled before dispatch by contacting us via email or phone during business hours.
- If payment was made online and the order is cancelled before dispatch, payment gateway/bank charges (typically up to 4%) may be deducted from the refund, if such charges are non-refundable to us.
- Once an order has been dispatched, it normally cannot be cancelled. In case of defects or issues, our regular Return & Replacement policy will apply.
9. Non-Returnable Items
Certain items may be marked as Non-Returnable on the product page (for example: ESD-sensitive ICs, cut-to-length wires, special orders, or clearance items). These items are not eligible for return or refund unless damaged in transit or wrongly supplied.
10. Limits of Responsibility
Electronic components and modules must be used with proper handling, ESD precautions, and correct circuit design. DNA Solutions is not responsible for damage arising from incorrect wiring, abuse, misuse, modification, or operation outside the specified ratings of the product.
