MAX7219 Dot Matrix 4 in 1 Display Module
Want to make your own scrolling board display? Well this module is perfect for your requirement.
This module is a 32x8 LED matrix Module driven by MAX7219 IC. So instead of using four different single 8x8 MAX7219 Modules and wiring them up just use this one module and you are ready to go.
Another advantage of this module is that you can cascade these modules and increase the number of characters on display.
Features of MAX7219 32x8 LED Module
- A single module can drive a 8x8 dot matrix common cathode
- Operating Voltage : 5V
- Dimensions : 7.3X3X1cm
- Fixing screws with 64 holes with a diameter 3mm
- Module with input and output interfaces, support for cascading multiple modules
Wiring Instructions of MAX7219 32x8 :ED Module
- The left side of the module to the input port, the right to an output port
- When the control of a single module, simply input port connected to CPU
- When a plurality of cascaded modules, input and output termination CPU, an input terminal of the second output end of the first module a module, the first two modules of the input terminal of the three termination modules, and so on.
For example:
- VCC → 5V
- GND → GND
- DIN → P2.2
- CS → P2.1
- CLK → P2.0
