Oscilloscope Probe Positioner
The Probe Positioning System offers an effective solution for securely holding a printed circuit board (PCB) during testing while allowing for precise placement of multiple test probes as needed. This innovative design enables the operator to maintain focus on the oscilloscope or other testing instruments without distraction. The holders are equipped with a flexible "gooseneck" positioning mechanism. The weighted probe holder utilizes gravity to gently press the sprung probe tip against the PCB or component, ensuring reliable contact. This system is suitable for both inspection and soldering tasks, as the PCB is securely held in position by four spring-loaded magnetic pillars. A sturdy yet lightweight steel baseplate provides stability for the pillars and probe holders. This setup is ideal for hands-free measurements with a logic analyzer or multimeter, as well as for securely fixing the PCB during soldering or testing.
