The soil sensor provides rapid access to soil temperature, humidity, electrical conductivity (EC), and pH data, facilitating optimal irrigation timing and quantity for plants, thereby ensuring the best growing environment. It accommodates a wide voltage power supply of 5-30V and transmits data via RS485, utilizing the reliable MODBUS-RTU protocol. The response of the soil sensor is swift, with stable and reliable output. Compatibility with Arduino UNO R3 and TTL to 485 expansion board allows for swift test environment setup. The soil sensor boasts an IP68 protection level, vacuum-filled and sealed with black flame-retardant epoxy resin. The probe, crafted from 316 stainless steel, offers rust-proof, waterproof, anti-corrosion, salt-alkali corrosion resistance, and long-term electrolysis resistance properties. Its performance is influenced by the soil salt content. Compact in size, it can be buried in the soil for extended periods and is compatible with various soil types.
