The DRV8818 Bipolar Stepper Motor Driver SMD IC is an integrated driver solution from Texas Instruments designed to control bipolar stepper motors in industrial and consumer applications. It includes a micro stepping indexer capable of up to 1/8-step resolution, allowing for smooth and precise motion control. With built-in current regulation, low RDS(on) MOSFETs, and protection features such as thermal shutdown, under-voltage lockout, and overcurrent protection, the DRV8818 provides high efficiency and reliability in a compact HTSSOP package. It is ideal for use in printers, robotics, CNC machines, and other motor control systems.
