The Adafruit LIS3DH breakout is a feature filled, low power, accelerometer that is configurable to several ranges of sensitivity. This accelerometer chipset is commonly found in a lot of commercial products so Adafruit has thrown together a convenient breakout board to test and experiment with it! The LIS3DH sensor has multiple data rate options ranging from 1Hz to 5Khz and has ±2g , ±4g , ±8g , or ±16g selectable scaling. The sensor communicates using I2C (2 address available) or SPI and is both 5V and 3.3V logic compatible.
