This 4099 8-bit Addressable Latch also functions as a 1 of 8 demultiplexer when RESET is high and WRITE DISABLE is low. This feature enables active output for the addressed bit, while all unaddressed bits remain at logic '0'. Its versatility makes it suitable for digital systems requiring data storage and addressing.
