Real Time Clock Module Based on PCF8563 RTC I2C IC
This RTC Module is based on PCF8563 IC. The PCF8563 real time clock module features high accuracy and low power consumption. This PCF8563 RTC maintains seconds, minutes, hours, day, date, month, and year information. In this module, the date is set based on whether the month is 29, 30 or 31 days and also it is leap year or not. This module can also be used in 12-hour and 24-hour formats.
The PCF8563 RTC Board provides the real-time clock/calendar function, which can be driven by a battery on board and works independently even when the MCU is turned off. Low-cost, extremely accurate I2C real-time clock (RTC). The PC8563 RTC Module is more stable and precise than DS1302, DS1307 & DS3231. This module can be easily interfaced with Arduino or any other microcontroller using I2C protocol.
