TLP521-Optocoupler Power Mosfet Gate Driver IC

The TLP521 is a compact optocoupler consisting of a GaAs infrared emitting diode (IRED) optically coupled to a phototransistor in a 4-pin DIP package. It provides electrical isolation between input and output, making it ideal for signal transmission between different voltage domains. Though not a dedicated high-speed MOSFET gate driver, the TLP521 can be used to switch low-power MOSFETs in isolated gate-driving applications where speed is not critical. Its high isolation voltage and reliable switching make it suitable for industrial controls, power supplies, and microcontroller interfacing.
