Description

WS2812 1m RGB LED strip 60 LEDs

RGB strip are digitally adjustable lighting that you can set to any color, or animate. Each RGB LED and controller.

The data is shifted from one pixel to the next, so you very quickly the strand or attach more in the end. Each item is digitally controlled, with an internal 8-bit PWM LED driver (24-bit color for 16 million different colors). The pixels are clocked by a microcontroller, we coupled a sample code below which operates at a Arduino should be easy to adapt to different micro-controller.

Each of these neat little PLCC-6 (5050) RGB LEDs are controlled by an WS2811 PWM LED driver IC die located inside--nifty, right? These are excellent for low-cost DIY pixel projects! Just string them together and you have yourself a fancy-pants addressable string or array to control to your liking.

The WS2811 employs a 1-wire serial data connection. ICs are chained together which means whole strings can be controlled using just 1 pin on your microcontroller. For more information we recommend reviewing the datasheet above or contacting us for further details.
