XL2596T-12E1 fixed 12 V buck DC-DC converter IC with 3 A output, 15–40 V input and 150 kHz PWM switching.

XLSEMI XL2596T-12E1 is a fixed 12 V buck converter IC for step-down voltage regulation. It accepts a 15–40 V input range and supports output current up to 3 A, for designs that need a regulated 12 V rail.

The IC combines an internal power switch with frequency compensation, current limiting and thermal shutdown. Its fixed 150 kHz PWM operation gives designers a defined switching frequency, while the ON/OFF pin lets them control the regulator. The TO220-5L package provides a five-lead format for board-level integration.

Use this converter in LCD monitors and TVs, digital photo frames, set-top boxes and ADSL modems. Its fixed output supports power regulation in these equipment designs.
