XL2596S-5.0E1 fixed 5 V buck regulator IC with 3 A output capability, 150 kHz PWM switching and an integrated power switch.

The XLSEMI XL2596S-5.0E1 is a fixed 5 V buck regulator IC that steps down a higher DC input to a lower voltage. It supports up to 3 A output current and uses PWM switching at a typical 150 kHz frequency.

An integrated power switch helps simplify the regulator power stage. Built-in thermal shutdown and current limits help manage fault conditions, while the ON/OFF input lets a control signal enable or disable the IC. The 5 V output is specified for input voltages from 7 V to 40 V.
