Auto-Calibrating Line Sensor LSS05

LSS05 Auto-Calibrating Line Sensor for AGVs with 5V power, 5 digital outputs, and easy calibration.

The Brand Auto-Calibrating Line Sensor LSS05 is designed for use in Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs). This sensor simplifies line detection with its 5 pairs of IR transmitters and receivers. It can detect line widths from 1cm to 3cm, whether the line is dark or bright. Calibration is quick, taking only 4 to 5 seconds, and settings are stored in non-volatile memory. After calibration, it reliably detects lines even after power cycles.

With a refresh rate of approximately 100Hz, the LSS05 outputs digital signals (0V or 5V) for easy interpretation of line positions. This feature makes it ideal for line-following robot development. It’s compatible with various motor driver modules, enhancing its versatility for robotics projects.
