E18-D80NK Infrared Proximity Sensor

E18-D80NK Digital IR Proximity Sensor with an adjustable range of 3 cm to 80 cm. 

E18-D80NK is A 5 volt adjustable IR Proximity Sensor switch with a sensing range of 3 cm to 80cm. E18-D80 sensor is very easy to user IR PROXIMITY SENROR with digital output. This IR Sensor works on 5 volts and can be directly interfaced to any Microcontroller, ESP8266, ESP32, Arduino and even Raspberry Pi. The E18-D80 IR sensor has an adjustable sensing distance from 3 cm to 80 cm and this sensing distance can be easily adjusted using the trim pot (multiturn Potentiometer) at the base of the E18 sensor. 

The E18 Sensor works as a proximity switch i.e. the output is digital (High when no obstacle & LOW when Obstacle is detected) thus making it easy to interface with any 5 volts digital circuit. The E18-D80 IR proximity sensor has very less interference by visible light and can even work quite well even in sunlight. The sensor works on modulated IR so the sensor can also work in daylight.

The Infrared Reflectance Sensor Module simply gives a digital signal when it detects infrared reflection from a person or object, so the code is exactly as the one we would use for a push button. The infrared proximity switch module is a reflection-type photoelectric sensor which integrates transmitting and receiving infrared beams function. Infrared proximity switches work by sending out beams of invisible infrared light. A photo-detector on the proximity switch detects any reflections of this light. These reflections allow infrared proximity switches to determine whether there is an object nearby.
