It operates efficiently with greater than 90% efficiency across a wide load range and has a low operating current of only 120µA, making it ideal for battery-powered devices. The MAX660 replaces bulky switching regulators, reducing size and cost while eliminating EMI issues.

This versatile MAX660 Voltage Inverter Converter also doubles the output voltage from a +5V source, yielding +9.35V at 100mA. With selectable oscillator frequencies of 10kHz or 80kHz, users can optimize for capacitor size and quiescent current.
