The Maxim MAX660 Voltage Inverter Converter is a monolithic charge-pump inverter designed to convert a +1.5V to +5.5V input into a corresponding -1.5V to -5.5V output. It operates efficiently with greater than 90% efficiency across a wide load range and has a low operating current of only 120µA, making it ideal for battery-powered devices. The MAX660 replaces bulky switching regulators, reducing size and cost while eliminating EMI issues.
