XL7045E1 fixed-frequency PWM buck converter IC with 10–80 V operating input, adjustable 1.25–20 V output and up to 0.3 A output current.

The XLSEMI XL7045E1 is a fixed-frequency PWM buck converter IC that steps down DC input voltage for power supply circuits. It accepts a 10–80 V operating input and provides an adjustable 1.25 V to 20 V output. Output current reaches 0.3 A at 5 V output, with a lower limit at higher output voltages.

Its built-in high-voltage power transistor and internal frequency compensation reduce the need for external circuit blocks. Current limiting, short-circuit protection and thermal shutdown support operation when the circuit faces a fault or excess heat. The SOP8-EP package includes an exposed ground pad.

Use this IC in an electric vehicle controller power supply or communications equipment where a step-down supply is needed. Its wide operating input range suits designs that must convert higher DC voltages to a lower regulated rail.
