XL6012E1 current-mode DC/DC converter IC with 5–40 V input, boost output up to 60 V and boost, flyback, SEPIC or inverting configurations.

The XLSEMI XL6012E1 is a current-mode switching DC/DC converter IC. It supports boost, flyback, SEPIC and inverting configurations. Its 5 V to 40 V input range and boost output up to 60 V suit designs that need a higher or changed output voltage.

An internal high-voltage N-channel MOSFET reduces the need for a separate switching transistor. Current-mode control supports stable regulation as input or load conditions change. Built-in current limit, thermal shutdown and soft start support reliable circuit operation. The enable pin lets a design turn the regulator off.

Use this boost converter IC in EPC and notebook car adapters, automotive and industrial converters, and portable electronic equipment. Its configurable operation also suits SEPIC and inverting converter designs.
