Short-circuit, overload and overvoltage protection help limit damage during faults. Overload and overvoltage protection use hiccup operation and recover once the fault clears. Free-air convection removes the need for a fan, while a power-on LED gives a clear status check. Long-life 105°C electrolytic capacitors support the power design.
