IR Sensor based Dispenser Board for Automatic Hand Sanitizer Application
This is a plug and play easy to use IR Sensor Dispenser Board for Automatic Hand sanitizer application. This Sensor module works on 8 to 24 Volts DC and can be used to dispense Sanitizer of liquid soap as per your requirement. The dispenser board sensing distance 10 to 12 cm. It also has provision for dispensing time setting using a second multi-turn potentiometer dispensing time can be set from 0 to 5 seconds.
The Automatic Hand Sanitizer dispenser module can be used to drive all types of DC pumps and Solenoids. Since the dispensing time can be adjusted you can control the quantity that can be dispensed. A power Transistor is used to drive the load.
The IR Sensor is connected to the main PCB via 4 pin relimate Connector. The IR Sensor provides easy mounting is the dispenser machine.
Working of IR Sensor Based Dispenser board
This is a plug and play module just connect 8 to 24 volt DC power supply to "CON4" and connect the Pump or solenoid that you want to control on "CON2". Set the dispensing time as per your requirement through on board potentiometer.
Now when the user brings his hand near the IR sensor the solenoid/Pump is turned on for the set period and then turned OFF. Even if the hand is there the solenoid/Pump will turn off after the set dispensing time. Thus reducing amount of sanitizer required.
The IR Sensor is affected by sunlight. It will not work in direct sunlight but it will work in well lit rooms.
