The MCP4013T-503 E/CH Low-Cost devices are volatile, 6-bit Digital Potentiometers that can be configured as either a potentiometer or rheostat. The wiper setting is controlled through a simple Up/Down (U/D) serial interface. The MCP4013T-503 E/CH is a non-volatile, 7-bit digital potentiometer that allows resistance adjustment via a simple up/down interface. It is particularly suitable for applications requiring a low-power, space-saving design. The 503 indicates a resistance value of 50kΩ. The device can retain its last wiper position even after the power is removed, thanks to its non-volatile memory.
