The PS2502-2 series of optically coupled isolators consist of infrared light emitting diodes and NPN silicon photo darling ton sin space efficient dual in line plastic packages. The PS2502-2 is an optocoupler (also known as an Optoisolator) with a dual channel configuration. It consists of two light-emitting diodes (LEDs) and two NPN silicon phototransistors in a compact package. The PS2502-2 is used to provide electrical isolation between input and output, ensuring that high-voltage or noisy circuits do not interfere with sensitive components in low-voltage circuits.
