7406  HEX Inverter

A logic gate is an elementary building block of a digital circuit. 

7406/74LS06 is a Hex Inverting Buffers with High Voltage Open-Collector Outputs. This device contains six independent buffers each of which performs the logic INVERT function. The open-collector outputs require external pull-up resistors for proper logical operation.
