MPL3115A2 I2C Barometric Pressure, Altitude, Temperature Sensor
The MPL3115A2 communicates information on pressure, altitude and temperature (the latter with an accuracy of 1°C).
Offering a precision of 30 cm, the MPL3115A2 Sensor is a versatile and more accurate version of the MPL115A2, which can be used only as a pressure sensor. With this model, you don’t need to spend all your time converting data to deduce the altitude for the barometric pressure level: everything is given to you on a plate!Compatible with Arduino and Raspberry Pi, the MPL3115A2 Barometric Sensor can be programmed using an extensive library of open-source codes.
Uses of the Barometric Pressure Sensor
Having a barometric pressure sensor that also provides information on altitude and temperature can be extremely useful for all your UAV navigation systems. The barometric sensor will also have its place in your weather station projects, and in your GPS and navigation assistance systems.
