What is a Motor Driver?

A Motor Driver is an IC or an Electronic Circuit which provides the necessary Signal, voltage or current required to drive the Motor. A motor Driver can be as simple as a Transistor or a MOSFET required to Turn ON/OFF a DC geared Motor. Or it can be a complicated controller based module which can precisely control a stepper motor as well as monitor the current consumption of the motor as well.
