BT139 TRIAC

BT139 is a general purpose Triac normally used for switching and phase control application.

Planar passivated sensitive gate four quadrant triac in a TO-220AB package intended for use in applications requiring high bidirectional transient and blocking voltage capability and high thermal cycling performance. Typical applications include

• Motor control

• Industrial and domestic lighting,

• Heating and static switching

BT139 TRIAC is sensitive gate "series E" triac is intended to be interfaced directly to micro-controllers, logic integrated circuits and other low power gate trigger circuits.
