"Meteorite 2011" was a launchpad for our firm New Shop at Thakker Bazar, Nasik. We are unofficially associated with the events by providing 10% off on all robotic accessories to whoever has registered for this event, |
Its not really a meteor shower but has the same thrill and the richness. Its an annual techno-fest held by Electronics and Telecomm department of Nasik's MET's Institute of Engineering. |
The events will be starting from 15th sept on occasion of Engineers day. Their mission is to evolve, develop and deliver dynamic learning systems to equip professionals with conscience and commitment to excellence and courage to face business challenges. |
Various Events have been organised at national level some of the technical events include Robo Puzzle, Robothon, C & Java Coding, etc. |

Its all about completing the track with various difficulties and tricky obstacles. |

Track Specification |
1. The given track/terrain has the width of min 30cm and max 40cm throughout the track. |
2. The minimum height of the track will be 11cm from the ground and the maximum height will be 40cm from the ground. |
3. The track consists of many obstacle and as you proceed the difficulties go on increasing. |

Obstacles will be as follows: |
1. Water suspended free moving rollers. |
2. Various slopes and inclination of Upto 45 degrees. |
3. Small obstacles like speed breaker a many types of rough terrain. |
4. There will be some obstacles like wooden triangles, hidden under smoke. |
5. There will be a task in which bot must press a switch by the front tyres of the bot which will lead to the closing of a particular gate of bridge. |

Rules & Regulations |
1. Any unfair means on the track or during the event will lead to disqualification. |
2. All the participants will be judged on the time taken to complete the race/track. |
3. There will be various check points in the race and any participants car goes out of the track at any instant, then they will have to restart again from previous checkpoint. |
4. Any physical intervention by the participants itself will lead to negative points. |
5. If any participants finds it difficult to cross any obstacle and wish to proceed then they will have to face the penalty in the form of time lag. |
6. Participants must report 15 mins prior to the event. |
7. Any self damage occurring to the car (ex: derailing of tyres) will be joining the race from previous checkpoint. |
8. Any type of harmful weapons on the car will not be accepted. |
9. Any type of unfair practice on the track will be subjected to disqualification. |
10. Decision of the respected judges will be taken as final. |
11. No participant can be part of more than one team. |

ROBOPUZZLE |
This is an object oriented task in which you have to put the given object into their respective slots via maze containing various obstacles. |

1. Min Track width- 30cm(except in case of tasks) |
2. Max slope- 30 degree |
3. Max block size- 10*10*10 |
4. Max triangular block size- 19*14*6 |

Objectives |
1. 1st-blocks has to be placed in doted slot to form a way to ch1. |
2. 2nd-ball has to be inserted into hole so as to rotate the door. |
3. 3rd-triangular blocks has to be used to form slope to ch4. |
4. 4th-final block placed at position X in level 1 and at Y instead of X in level 2 is to be inserted in respective hole XX to finish the race. |
Aim is to finish the track before the opponent within minimum time. |

Selection of winner |
Level 1- Participants will race in pairs; pairs will be selected with draw depending upon available candidates. First few winners in level 1 with minimum time will be selected for next level. |
Level 2 - Selected participants will race in pairs to win and first two winners in level 2 with minimum time will be declared as winners. |

Rules & Regulations |

3. 10 sec will be added for each hand touch. |
4. DC power supply will be provided. |
5. If any participants finds it difficult to cross any obstacle and wish to proceed then they will have to face the penalty in the form of time lag and will be placed to next check point. Only two times in 1st round. All obstacles are compulsory in second round. |
